Shakti Mehta
(Director)
Chartered Accountant
Shakti Mehta is a Chartered Accountant with 35 years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounting function in the Chemical industry. He retired as Vice President (Finance and Accounts from a Japanese Multinational) and is currently a director at Infinity.
His professional expertise involves foreign currency risk management, design and implementation of management information system (MIS), providing accounting solutions upon merger and demerger of companies, debt raising, treasury management, designing control matrix of ICFR, and drafting SOPs for finance and accounts.
He has designed and developed the foreign currency risk management policy. He played an instrumental role in demerging and merging of listed entities. He has raised debt from domestic and overseas sources and managed multiple and consortium banking relationships. He was the FI module head while implementing SAP in a listed entity.
At Infinity, on designing accounting and MIS systems, He has covered organizations operating in areas such as Engineering, Industrial Chemicals, and IT Services.
Dr. Prarthan Desai

Dr. Prarthan Desai is a Fellow of IIM Bangalore (equivalent to Ph.D.), an MBA and a Bachelor of Engineering. At Infinity, he is heading growth strategy related services.
He has been engaged in the field of management consulting, executive education and training, and higher management education for more than 14 years. His professional expertise involves formulation and implementation of growth strategies, strategic turnaround and transformation, organization development and change, organization structure and design, and strategic leadership.
He has handled many management consulting assignments in large organizations operating in various sectors such as Government and Public Sector Units, IT Services, Pharmaceuticals, Steel, and Tyre manufacturing. In the SME sector, he has handled management consulting assignments for organizations operating in areas such as Engineering, Industrial Chemicals, Plastic and Thermoware Manufacturing, B2B E-Commerce, Logistics Services, IT Services, Financial Services, and Luxury Retail.
In addition to his engagement in management consulting, he is also an Adjunct Professor at Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, and a Visiting Faculty at IIM Calcutta. He has handled extensive executive education and training programmes in India and abroad on strategy formulation, strategy implementation, strategic change, and organization structure and design at middle and senior management levels (more than 4000 managers). The participants included, among others, senior managers at Larsen and Toubro and Oil India Limited, senior and middle level managers working in roles involving strategy making, supply chain management, product development and general management in various Indian and Middle Eastern companies, and entrepreneurs and family business owners.

Vandit Desai

Vandit Desai is a CFA charter holder (CFA Institute, USA), an MBA and a Bachelor of Engineering. At Infinity, he is heading corporate finance services.
Vandit has been in the field of management consulting, and corporate finance for more than 15 years. Prior to his consulting career, he was associated with Torrent Power Limited as an Instrumentation Engineer.
In the area of corporate finance, his expertise involves financial analysis, financial modelling, firm valuation, fundraising, and due diligence. He has handled assignments in various industries such as IT and ITeS, Education, Fashion, Waste Management, Agriculture, and Engineering, and Chemical.
In the area of growth strategy, his areas of expertise involve formulation of growth strategies, development of business model and business plan, budgeting, balanced score cards (BSC®), MIS design, and performance review & management. He has handled Strategy Formulation & Implementation assignments in various industries such as Industrial Chemicals, Engineering, IT and ITeS, Financial Service, and Luxury Retail.
Apart from his consulting career, his interest areas include statistical analysis and econometric modelling. He is familiar various statistical tools for the data analysis including SPSS, E-views, AMOS and Microsoft Excel.
